What is the SIRS Calculator (Skills immigration registration system)?

The provincial government has put up a scoring system that examines the candidate’s profile in order to make the BC PNP run faster. The candidate’s credentials are used to compute the score in this system. On January 27, 2016, the system went live.

Your profile will be rated based on the above SIRS calculation system for each credential such as age, educational qualification, work experience, language competence, and adaptability. Because it is a point-based system, applicants are given scores based on the information they submit while creating their online profile (same as an express entry), and then they are placed in a pool with other applicants. Candidates are invited to apply for Province Nomination through multiple streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program, which hold draws on a regular basis.

B.C PNP – How much time does it take?

When compared to other PNPs in Canada, the BCPNP is noted for its speed. The length of the process is determined on the amount of applications received by the federal government. In the last two years, the total process has sped up in accordance with process time. The BC PNP is expected to take 2-4 months to complete after the entire profile is submitted. In other circumstances, though, timing may differ. Each stream has a varied processing time that must be taken into account before using it.
