1. University of Warsaw
This university is a public research university in Warsaw, Poland established in 1816. This university is the largest institution for higher education in Poland which has 37 fields of study with more than 100 specializations in humanities, technical dn natural science. This university has 126 buildings and the main campus is in the city and the second campus is located near Banacha and Pasteura streets.

2. Jagiellonian University (UJ)
UJ is a public research university and most prestigious university in Poland and was established in 1364 by King Casimir III. This university is the oldest university in Poland and 13th oldest university in the world still in operation. The motto of the university is “Let reason prevail over force” and this university is considered as the institution with a strong polish culture and contributor to the intellectual heritage of Europe. 3. Warsaw University of Technology
This university is one of the largest universities in Central Europe and a leading public institution for technology in Poland and was established in 1826. Most of the top 500 executives in corporate level and president level are the graduates from this university. First engineering courses were offered at the Warsaw Institute of Technology in 1826, which is when Warsaw University of Technology was founded.

4. AGH University of Science & Technology
AGH is a public research university in Krakow, Poland founded in 1913, this university also known as AFH University of Krakow. This university is one of the 10 Polish higher education institutions that have a research university title but this university was inaugurated in 1919. The research center is mainly focused on materials and nanotechnology and it offers three levels of education. The motto of the university is “Born in labour, I serve the labour and science”

5. Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan
This university is a public research university in Poznań, Poland established in 1919 but the origins go back to 1611. Former name of the university is Piast University which in 1920 was renamed to University of Poznań and during world war II students and staff opened an underground Polish university. During the 19th century Polish romantic poet Adam Mickiewicz renamed the university’s name to the current name after the adoption of a new patron.

6. Wroclaw Medical University
This is a public institution of higher medical education in Wroclaw, Poland and was established in 1950. The university has five departments which includes medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health and postgraduate education. 7. Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (NCU)

The university got the name from Nicolaus Copernicus, who was an active mathematician and astronomer born in Royal Prussia, Poland in 1473. 9. University of Wroclaw
University of Wroclaw is a public research university in Wroclaw, Poland and it is the largest institution of higher education which was established in 1702. The university was founded in 1945 replacing the German university University of Breslau. At the beginning the university only had five departments, later it has expanded to numerous departments. 10. Medical University of Warsaw
This university is the oldest and largest medical school in Warsaw, Poland established in 1809 with the motto of “Public safety”. This university is the first institution in Poland to establish a department of medicine in 1809 and now this university is partially affiliated with a number of large hospitals in Poland. Originally the university was known as Medical Academy of Warsaw and this university offers 16 degree programs in which 3 full time degree programs are taught in english are dentistry, medicine and pharmacy.
