For foreign workers who reside and work in Alberta, or who plan to live and work here, the AINP has two streams :
- Having accepted a full-time, indefinite work offer from a B.C. company (a permanent job or one with no specific termination date). The work must be in a skilled occupation as defined by the National Occupational Classification (NOC) (Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B).
- Be qualified to perform the job’s requirements, have at least two (2) years of directly related work experience, and be able to support yourself and your dependents. For NOC skill level B professions, you must have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada. abide by the language requirements
- Have a wage offer that is in line with the occupation’s wage rates in B.C.
Basic PNP criteria for skilled workers in British Columbia
