1. University of Malta

It is a public university based in Malta which was established in 1592 with a motto of “We should bring forth fruit unto God”. The university was originally located in Valletta and now it is called as the old university building or Valletta campus. The main campus of the university is located in Msida and the plan to construct the university was because the Valletta campus was too small. The university has another campus called Marsaxlokk campus where sustainable energy is taught and it has two labs and one lecture hall. The university has another campus on an island called Gozo campus which was established in 1992.

2. American University of Malta

It is a private american style arts college in Cospicua, Malta the founder of the university is Hani H. N. Salah. The plan for the establishment of the university was launched in 2015 and it was officially established in 2016. AUM welcomed first batch students in 2017 and officially the university was inaugurated in 2019. AUM’s curriculum was provided by DePaul university and all programs are delivered in English.

3. Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST)

It is a vocational educational and training institution located in Paola, Malta which was established in 2001. This institution offers more than 300 part time courses which range from certificate courses to doctoral degrees. Six institutes and the Gozo campus consist of the MCAST university.

4. St Martin’s Institute of Higher Education (SMI)

This is a higher education institution established in 1985 and the aim of founding the institution was providing tuition in computer science in Malta. University of London has accepted the SMI to offer tuition to Maltese students for BSc (Hons) in Computing & Information Systems.

5. Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) in Malta

This institution is the first medical school located on Gozo which was established in 2019 by steward healthcare managing malta campus. 10. Learn Key Institute

It is a training institute in Malta which was established in 1995 and it is accredited by MFHEA. In 2015 the ACCA also allowed the institution to deliver accounting and finance diplomas.
