How to be nominated, select a stream:

For foreign workers who reside and work in Alberta, or who plan to live and work here, the AINP has two streams :

Alberta Opportunity Streams

An AINP nomination is available to those applicants who are qualified and can live and work in Alberta and have a job offer from an Alberta business.

The Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS) criteria may apply at the time you submit your application, when the AINP evaluates it, or both. To ensure that you meet the qua lifying requirements, carefully read the criteria.

The submission date for paper applications submitted to the AINP is based on the mailing date.

The following is how the AINP defines the term โ€œmailing dateโ€:

The mailing date indicates the day the item was accepted by Canada Post if sent by registered mail.

The mailing date for a parcel is the day it was accepted by Canada Post or picked up by a courier provider.

AINP confirmed mailing dates with the mail service provider as necessary.
